Shared Steps is a support group for families of autistic children. Our first meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 24th at 5:30pm in Room 216 at the ISU Speech and Hearing Clinic. The clinic’s address is 660 Memorial Drive, Building 68. We plan to meet on the last Wednesday of every month. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program coordinates early intervention services for eligible children ages 0-3. Services are provided at no cost to families.

Empowering Parents is an Idaho program that provides grants of $1,000 per K-12 student, up to $3,000 per household. Families with an income of $60,000 or below are prioritized for this funding, however families with higher incomes are also encouraged to apply, as funds will be provided to other families if grant money is still available.

This is an awesome program that can provide some financial relief for families who need some extra help covering their copays for therapy! We have been approved as a vendor for this program to allow grant funds to pay for therapy at our clinic.
